So You Run Track Now?

Akeem is entering his third season Post-collegiately. Coming off a solid year in 2016 where he helped the Canadians came away with a Olympic bronze medal in the men’s 4x100m Relay this past summer at the Rio Olympic games, in that race he ran the first leg. In that they race they also established a new Canadian Record time of 37.64

With a time of 6.51 in the 60m Akeem is the third fastest Canadian of all time in that event.

Akeem is arguable the most decorated athlete to come out of Calgary, Ab. A duel sport athlete in football and track he still holds the record for most touchdowns and yardage in a single game and career. And currently he still holds the Provincial high school track and field record in 100m and 200ms.

You Can't Do It Alone

I've had a tremendous amount of help to get to where I am today. My support team has been unreal on my path; without them I wouldn't be where I am today. No man is an island, and no man is an army. There is no exaggeration with those words. Beyond grateful for those who have invested their time in helping me achieving the things I set out to do. Especially with my sporting career. This whole website would be filled with names of people if I wrote every name down. With that being said, thank you to those who have been a light on my path.

Whats Next?

I'm getting ready for the 2017 World championships in august in London, England. That's the main priority, but most importantly i'm just trying to get better each day and so how fast I can get my body to go while I'm in the sport. For those who have kept up with me for a while now, It's much appreciated and I hope you genuinely continue to send your support my way!
